CONFIRMED BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
To confirm and lock in your event on the date you need, we require a 50% deposit up front. This arrangement guarantees we will personally show up on the day and will perform and/or provide our professional services for the times that you have decided on. The remaining balance is payable in full the week of your event. Unfortunately, we cannot ‘hold’ a date or ‘pencil anyone in’ without a deposit. Layton Gemmell Ltd reserves the right to cancel a booking and allocate the booking/date to another client if confirmation is not received. Payments can be made via cheque, cash or bank deposit, if paying by cheque please make the cheque out to Layton Gemmell Ltd and you can send cheques to our address which is on our contact page. Payments made by internet bank deposit can be credited directly to the following account: BNZ, WAIROA, ACCOUNT NUMBER: 02 07840 0422830 25
If you require our professional services after the agreed set time, it will be at the rate of $100 per hour for a DJ, MC, Karaoke professional, $180 per hour for Layton Gemmell to speak at your conference or event, $90 per hour for children/adult clown or magician entertainment, $100 per hour for a video, camera operator, DVD production professional, photographer or a sound and audio specialist. Overtime rates are payable the day of the event. It may not always be possible to provide additional service time, however, when feasible requests for extended time will be accommodated.
PACK IN AND PACK DOWN TIMES
All packages include costs for our professional services and high quality equipment including: mixers, speakers, lighting, computers, cables, multimedia and audio visual equipment, cameras and production gear, microphones and all other applicable accessories. Our packages also include costs for pack in and pack down times. Unfortunately, all breakages or losses will be charged to the client.
In case of cancellation Layton Gemmell Ltd will refund the deposit less a booking fee of 25% up to 90 days prior to the function. Within 90 days to 45 days prior to the function, Layton Gemmell Ltd will retain the full deposit received as compensation for lost business.
For long distance locations accommodation maybe required, this is an extra cost which will be worked out and added to your package depending on the Town/City location within New Zealand. We will always do our very best to source the most cost effective accommodation options.
Travel is free for events within the Wairoa district only (10 km radius). Travel outside this area will incur extra travel costs at a rate of $1 per km return.
